It took about four months. I just did it the old fashioned way. I started exercising and watching what I eat.
More specifically… I keep a food log of everything I eat to count calories and I measure my food (I use the MyFitnessPal app for iPhone). I avoid eating any kind of processed food and anything with hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, or artificial sweeteners. I also try to work out at least 5 times a week. I work out at home. I do a lot of Jillian Michaels workouts and kickboxing (Turbo Jam and sometimes Tae Bo).
